The cryptocurrency market was trading mixed following a small trade between the Christmas holidays and the New Year holidays in western countries.
With the exception of stablecoins, all other altcoins in the top 10 digital tokens traded at 8.30 am IST. Polkadot moved closer to 9 percent to surpass Avalanche to become the 10th largest cryptocurrency, while Terra jumped 5 percent.
The global crypto market has jumped by about 2 percent to $ 2.40 trillion compared to the last day. However, the total market value of crypto increased by more than 2 percent to $ 74.23 billion.

"The Indian crypto market faced a tumultuous week when the crypto bill was scheduled for the winter of Parliament," said the WazirX Trade Desk. "However, it has been postponed again."
