THE SALES WORLD

Greetings to the PH community I hope you are in good health and focused on your personal goals, in this article I want to address the issue of sales, I hope you like it.

When we start a business or company, one of the main challenges is to maintain a considerable amount of sales of our products or services. These sales are the blood of the company, without sales there is no money, and without money there is no future.

Without the correct definition of our potential client, entrepreneurs tend to become one of these two salespeople, firstly we have the salesperson that nobody wants to deal with due to their insistence and secondly we have the salesperson that we all love and like to deal with, these are their differences.

Bad salesman:

This is a type of salesman who does not seek to solve any problem, he focuses on the wonders of his product, for this salesman his product is so good that only the stupid do not buy it, for him every client is an opportunity to sell and for the sale he will say or do everything in his power to close it, it does not matter that his client does not need that product, he is the most common salesman and we can find in almost any company a salesman who only cares about the money he will earn if he can close the sale. If you are one of the entrepreneurs who acts as this seller I recommend you to focus your efforts on knowing in detail your market niche and what your value proposal is for that market niche.

Good salesman:

This is a type of salesman who is very clear about who his potential client is, he knows in detail the preferences and needs of the market niche he serves without mentioning that his value propositions are incredible, for this salesman First there is the satisfaction of his client and then there is the money, I believe that we all love to feel served by a sales professional who will only give us what adds value to our lives, it is worth noting that these people are in great demand by all companies and it is impressive how much money they can make in their lives.

In conclusion

Now that you know the difference you can take action and look not only for the most suitable market niche to sell your products, but also focus on knowing your ideal customer so that they see you as a solution in their life, that the money you will give in exchange for the product or service is very little compared to the benefits you will get by choosing you as their salesperson. Remember that knowing your customer and the niche he is in will lead to more sales with less effort.

I will like to add that a good salesman is more concerned about meeting needs than making money, when needs are meet first profit rolls in inevitably.

Hi @ajewa
When something is done well, the profits must come at some point, and without money being the end.

Hello @trabajosdeliglo
Those first salesmen you mention abound, for me they are a real nuisance. I don't like that they are trying to sell me something that sometimes I don't even need, and that they insist on it...
Selling is an art that is good and necessary to learn, but it requires preparation, of course.

Greetings @trabajosdelsiglo

In my particular case, I have always liked to feel well attended by the salesperson or owner of the establishment, who offers an explanation of the product, and who makes objective recommendations. On the other hand, the extreme salesperson who only describes the wonders of his product with the sole purpose of generating sales, this type of salesperson overwhelms me and makes me leave the establishment.

Hello friend, selling is not an easy task as many think, besides not everyone has the vocation, particularly I do not like to sell, I consider that I am not good at it, but it is something fundamental for every business and we must choose well our employees because that is the basis of any company. Greetings.
