LG to soon introduce a washing machine that uses Carbon Dioxide Instead of Water !

Traditional washing machines need a lot of water and a cleaner to clean a collection of dirty clothes. It often leads to wasting fresh water and adding pressure to an already depleted area.

Quoting this concern, LG has taken on the task of building a completely waterless washing machine on the commercial market.

According to the latest reports, LG has begun the process of developing a waterless washing machine.

The South Korean giant began working on the project with a sandbox control system after the Department of Trade, Industry, and Energy approved a technology test.

Technologies include using carbon dioxide instead of water for washing machines.

LG apparently found a way to convert natural carbon dioxide from its natural gas to a liquid form through the refrigeration and compression process.

After turning the gas into a liquid, LG's waterless washing machine will be able to wash dirty clothes without using water or detergent at all.

When it comes to removing contaminants from dirty clothes, the washing machine will use a viscosity and a higher concentration of liquid carbon dioxide.

After the washing process, the consumer will be able to convert liquid CO2 into its original gas form and use it for subsequent washing.

Therefore, there will be no discharge of any kind of gas or water mixed with the cleaner through a waterless washing machine from LG. This will save a lot of water currently used in households to wash clothes.

With regard to the availability of LG waterless washing machine, the company will establish the first unit in its research facility after the development process.

It will use the machine for two years to test its strength before making it available for sale on the market.
