EXHAUSTED

I can't in good faith continue to participate in an ecosystem that is run in this manner. I've had my grievings with Steem before (it feels and operates the same was as American politics with "Money = Speech and Power"), but this takes things to an obnoxious new level.

Effectively immediately, I've begun a power-down with the intent to pack up and leave.

If things happen to change for the better (doubtful) in the near future (also doubtful) -- consideration will be given to staying.

I'll keep the site operational and all functionality running until said powerdown is completed. It is my personal (and generally uninformed opinion) that others should do the same and try to hold on to whatever savings / earnings they've managed to accrue. Maybe under the flawless leadership of new SteemitInc, the price will appreciate -- but I don't particularly care. It's all gross, and I think I've had enough.

I'll be in Discord servers, and keeping my ear to the ground to see if some kind of fork spins up where we can disregard Steemit-Inc / Tron / All that noise. If that's the case -- I'll likely be there.

I thank you all for participating in my little running / training journal website thingy. It was fun while it lasted.

Be well.

It's very sad to hear you say this, but these are extraordinary times. The platform we loved has been thrashed and it's not clear if it can recover. I'm considering my options.

Such a shame :( I really loved your little running / training journal website thingy. I hope something can be worked out but if it cannot then best of luck for the future. Keep me informed if you embark on any new ventures, i’m sure you will have many wanting to join/support you x

Seriously, this is a bunch of horse shit. I wish I had somewhere else to go similar. I and many others have started the powerdowns as well. Likely it will be changed to 1 to 3 days though soon so we will be able to go fully liquid fast.

Yeah hopefully people manage to leave with something, if they choose to.

I'm almost certain that a community-based fork will spin up before long. Would be good to see somethign start where everyone is at zero, rather than the imbalance that currently exists... But we'll see.

Cheers, and enjoy the upcoming climbing season!

Thanks a lot for everything that you've done. I appreciate all your efforts to move us :)

Personally, I'll stick around and do my best to keep a positive attitude. Maybe my skin is too thick for my own good :)

Sad to hear that you’re about to leave.
Let’s hope that something will happen in the next month or so.

I'm indeed sorry to say it.

Hope things play out well and everyone benefits in the long run. And I hope that all of your yoga and community cleanup efforts go well and are rewarded.

Cheers,

I should do the same...
Thanks for all you have done man.

Do what you gotta do! Thanks for all the good running tips and training strategies! It has been refreshing, and educating!

We'll see how things shake-out. Maybe this is just a temporary "end".

This is terrible, to lose another talented developer. Everyone needs to be at a place where they are happy, you do what makes you happy. I appreciate what you have given to me personally on this platform.

talented developer

You're too kind. I appreciate you sticking around while I stumble my way through this interesting experiment. We'll see how things develop in the weeks to come.

Be well!

did not submit much training's through the website, but it was a motivation to have it here, of course, with all these in the background, i understand you, and thank you for all that you have done so far, good luck in whatever you choose to do in the future
