Assalamu-alaikum my dear friends. I am Lamia. And I am from Bangladesh. How are you my dear friends? I hope all my dear steemian friends are well and At this time Alhamdulellah I am also fine. This week in Hindwhale Community I am participating in a new travel related contest organized by the honorable admin of this community @deepak94 sir. I like to write or talk about travel experiences, that's why today I participated in this travel related contest.

Place and date of travel : The day was 23 February 2024 and on that day I went on a pleasure trip with my family members. An annual trip was organized by a club called Shiromoni Tarun Sangh to our village Shiromoni in which I participated with my family. Every year in our village a village based banquet is organized from this club where people from almost every stratum of the village try to attend as this pleasure trip is quite enjoyable. Similarly for the first time I went on a pleasure trip with my family that day.

The place we went for the trip is a little far from our city of Khulna. The place is Green Valley Park in Jhenaidah District of Khulna Division. It is a park spread over a large artificially created area. The park is well known in Bangladesh and there are many beautiful artificial structures inside the park which are visited by many tourists every day.

Travel & Travel experience : It takes three hours to travel by bus from Khulna to Jhenaidah for which our bus left Khulna before 9 am that day for Dream Valley Park in Jhenaidah. It was the first trip in my life that I was quite happy about. Moreover, I was accompanied by my family members which added to my joy manifold. I was so happy to have this first experience of traveling by bus to a new place that I enjoyed every moment of the three hour journey. We headed towards our destination enjoying the beautiful beauty of nature through the bus window on the bus journey in cloudy weather.

Our journey through pleasant weather ended after 12 noon and by then we entered our destination or our picnic spot Dream Valley Park. At first sight I was impressed by the Gate of Dream Valley Park which had many displays to see. Then we collect tickets to enter the park one by one. Although the entrance ticket to the park was 200 Taka but for some reason they charged us 100 Taka or 5 Steem per person. However, we wasted no time there and quickly collected the tickets and entered the park and continued to enjoy the atmosphere.

After entering the park first we decided a place where we will cook food for lunch and sit and eat there. After the place setting was over the cooking started there and we took the cook in advance for the cooking work. After explaining all the cooking to the cook, we all started walking around the different parts of the park. I really liked some of the artificial structures inside the park and also a swimming pool inside the park. There is a 2 hour time limit for bathing in the swimming pool inside the park and the entrance fee was 200 Taka or 10 Steem per person.

Anyway after wandering from there we come to a lake which is an artificial lake. In the middle of the lake there was a beautiful house decorated with a flower tree where we wandered. The speed board inside the lake circles the circular lake five times in total and in that case each person needs 100 taka or 5 Steem to ride the speed board.

We wandered around the park for more than 2 hours and realized that the park is huge in size. At one point my mother's call came on my mobile and I went to our chosen place where our lunch was being cooked. I went there and saw that the cooking was done and everyone was getting ready for lunch. Then I also freshen up and sit here to have lunch with everyone and everyone eats lunch together. To tell the truth, such an experience was a first for me, so I enjoyed that time a lot.

After lunch we sat there and rested for a while and talked among ourselves. After resting for about 20 minutes, we went out again to visit other parts of the park. Then a memorable and funny thing happened to me. That is, I watch a lot of videos of a youtube channel called teddy bear and I go there and directly see that teddy bear in the park. Then I go there and confirm that the teddy bear channel is his. Then I chatted with them for a while and took selfies and went out again to see other monuments of the park. After a short walk I came across a sculpture of a genie inside the park which looked a bit comical and lovely. Then I went there and took some pictures and continued to enjoy the place.

After wandering around for a long time, we returned to our destination and by then it was almost dusk. Then I saw all the things we had taken with us being loaded into the car and everyone was preparing to go home. I was quite tired after traveling all day so I was the first to get into the car. Then my other family members came alone. As our house is far away we leave our bus and we then leave for our home.

My comments on travel : Visiting Dream Valley Park was a new experience for me that I thoroughly enjoyed the day. But talking about the place I would say this place is quite nice for those who love artificial beauty. It is an artificial park located in Jhenaidah district of Khulna division of Bangladesh which is spread over a large area. So this place is great for coming for a family picnic on holidays. I will visit again next time I get the chance.
