Good day, my dear friends! I'm back with you today to compete in the Power Up competition hosted by @jyoti-thelight.

Importance of Power Up

As you are all aware, the most important aspect of this platform is steem power. If we have more steem power in our wallet, we can exert more influence on the steemit platform. The weight of our vote, as well as the curation award we received, would be increased if we had more steem power in our wallet.

As a result, by converting our liquid steem into steem power on a weekly basis, we can boost our steem power. Not only that if we can maintain club100 status too will help to increase our steem power. Therefore, I request everyone to power up their liquid steem to steem power weekly to increase their steem power.

Power up Process

Here is my wallet before power up. You can see I have 118.699 liquid steem and 5207.302 steem power in my wallet. Today, in order to participate in this contest, I decided to convert 100 of my liquid steem to steem power. Now I'll walk you through the process step by step.

Step 1

First, I opened my wallet and clicked the right mouse button on steem. Then the image below appears.

Then I press the power up button, as shown below.

Step 3

Then the below image appeared and as I needed to power 100 steem I typed 100 in the amount column and pressed the ok button.

Step 4

The image below appears when I press the OK button. I need to sign there in order to complete my transfer. By giving my active key I sign to complete my power up process.

Here is my wallet after power up. You can witness now, that my steem has dropped to 18.699, while my steem power has increased to 5307.357.
