Good day, my fellow Steemians. I hope today is the last day for this event, but there is still time, so I chose to participate because I believe I have enough steem to power up. My friend @jyoti-thelight, once again, thank you for arranging this contest, which has helped us to earn more Steem.

The majority of steemians in this platform struggle to power up their steem every week because steem power is the most valuable component of this platform. When we have more Steem power in our wallet, we can be more impudent on this platform. Not only that it helps us to improve reputation value.

If you ask me what the most important reason is to convert my liquid steem to steem power, my answer is simple. It's because I want to reach my next dolphin level as quickly as possible. Another key reason is that I can keep my club status. We're all aware that to participate in any contest on this platform or become a moderator or curator, we must maintain a club status of at least 50, 75, or 100. This power up process is the only way to maintain our club status. I trust you now understand the importance of the power-up procedure.

Power up procedure.

My dear friends, first of all, I will share a screenshot of my wallet with you so that you can get some idea of its present situation.

I currently have 66.919 liquid Steem and 10,448.114 Steem in my wallet.

To begin my power-up procedure, I clicked the arrow in Steem, which displayed the image below. I then clicked the power up button, as shown below.

When I did so the “Convert to STEEM POWER” image appeared. As I needed to power up 60 of my liquid steem into steem power I typed 60 in the amount column and pressed the power up button.

As the ‘Confirm Transfer To Vesting” image appeared I pressed the “OK’ button to confirm my vesting.

As I need to “sign to complete transfer” by providing my active key I confirm my transfer.

My dear friends, you can now notice that my wallet liquid steem has decreased to 6.919 but my steem power has increased to 10,508.122.
