UTENSILS

Utensils are the most important thing for a complete kitchen; if we have fewer utensils, we may face difficulties in cooking. It is something that is available in almost all homes, and people use it; each utensil has a different purpose. There are a variety of utensils like a kettle, toaster, microwave oven, jug, blender, bowl, cookware pan, teapot, cutting board, strainer, and many others. I also have many utensils in my home that I want to share with you.

_Hotpot

My first special utensil is the hotpot, and I use it to keep food warm. It's very useful and helps a lot with my cooking. Because if I cook food and then leave it open, then it starts to get cold, but if I put the food in the hotpot, then the food stays hot, and that helps me a lot. I use it roughly twice a day: once in the morning and sometimes in the evening.

_Teapot

The second utensil is a teapot, and I use this pot mostly whenever I have to drink tea. These are very useful, and it helps me a lot to keep the tea warm. As I am a tea lover and drink tea twice a day, I use this pot twice a day, in the morning for breakfast and in the evening. I have no better utensil for keeping tea warm.

The third special utensil is the fry pan, and I use it for many purposes. I use this pan if I ever want to fry an egg, fish, or any other meat. It helps me a lot in terms of heating things up, and I use it in the morning when I have to eat fried eggs. There are many other utensils for roasting, but for me, this one is easy.

_Knife

Another special utensil that I use, and it is almost one of the most used utensils, is the knife. I use the knife to cut a variety of things, such as fruits, vegetables, and salads. It helps me a lot in terms of chopping things, and I must use it whenever I have to cook food, etc., as it comes in handy for chopping vegetables.

My last special utensil is the vintage grater, which also helps me a lot throughout the day because it helps me break things down into smaller pieces. This utensil helps me a lot in making salads with carrots, radishes, and others, and I use it once a day when I have to make a salad. Apart from this, it also helps me a lot in preparing the ingredients for making carrot halwa.

MY FAVORITE UTENSIL

Out of all the utensils I mentioned above, my favourite is the tea pot, as it helps a lot to keep my tea warm. Because sometimes I get up late, my mother makes my tea and puts it in this pot, so when I get up and drink tea, it remains hot, and that's why I like this pot so much.

It came into my life two years ago, and this pot was bought by my mother from a shop in the Okara district of Pakistan. Since then, it has helped me a lot in keeping my tea warm. My mother didn't buy it alone; she bought it with tea cups, and it cost around Rs 3000 then. which is equal to 50 Steem.

And if we talk about its function, as I mentioned above, it is to keep the tea warm. I sometimes get very impressed when I see that the tea that was made almost three hours ago is still hot. Another function of this pot is that we can put our other hot soups in it.
