Hello! Today we will prepare my daughter's favorite dish - Ukrainian borscht. This dish does not need advertising, it is known all over the world. This is a very tasty dish and it uses many ingredients that Ukrainian peasants have grown in their gardens for many generations.
Borscht can be prepared in different ways, each cook can bring something different to this dish. However, the basis of the recipe is always the same. I will tell you how I cook borscht.
First, I went to the garden to collect the necessary vegetables: beets, cabbage, carrots and onions.
I also need potatoes for the dish, but I already have them. Wash and peel the potatoes:
After we have cleaned the potatoes, we pour them again with water and wash them well. Now cut the potatoes into cubes:
Put the chopped potatoes to cook. While the potatoes are cooking, we cut the cabbage:
carrots and onions:
When the potatoes are half ready, add the cabbage and continue cooking.
Fry chopped onions and grated carrots in oil:
Cut the chicken fillet into pieces:
and start cooking with potatoes and cabbage.
When the onion and carrot are fried, add them to the pan with all the remaining ingredients.
Clean the red beetroot:
and grate it.
Stew red beets with sour cream over low heat for a few minutes:
According to the classic recipe, sour cream is added to borscht in portions before consumption. However, I cook the way my daughter likes it.
When the red beet has been stewed, we throw it into the pan with all the ingredients. We add salt and fresh greens.
You can add a few cloves of garlic.
That's it, the famous Ukrainian borscht is ready:

Не верный рецепт 🤣, но выглядит вкусно. Свеклу нужно протушить с томатной пастой, а не со сметаной 😂

В статті написано,що я тушу буряк з сметаною,бо так любить моя дитина, і вказано що сметана за класичним рецептом дається порційно вкінці,і взагалі неправильного борщу не буває, кожен робить на свій смак.

Не ображайтеся, я ж не проти😂. Цікаво було побачити як готують борщ в інших країнах. А ще ми додаємо туди сало. Ми його смажимо з цибулею, морквою, з томатною пастою та буряком. А ви з якого міста? Дивлюся, ви зовсім недавно зареєстровані в платформі, @mariam.dariam
