Napoli and Juventus competed together Wednesday in the Coppa Italia final. With the score still 0-0 after 120 minutes of play, the match had to be decided from the 11-meter spot, where Napoli took the trophy home with a 4-2 victory.

Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the discussion points after the game, because the Portuguese superstar had unusually hard time putting his imprint on the game why he missed winning career trophy number 32.

The 35-year-old Portuguese, who has so far been well able to to maintain its top form, lacked sharpness in Wednesday's cup final, which was Juventus' only second match in more than three months.

Former Italian national striker Luca Toni did not hold back after Wednesday's cup final defeat.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is everywhere on that defeat," said Luca Toni, according to Metro.

The Portuguese has physical problems. He can't even kill one man.

An angry and disappointed Juventus coach, Maurizio Sarri, also acknowledged after the match that Ronaldo lacked his sharpness, which is true of several of the Juventus players - in fact, the entire Juventus squad.

He's in the same shape as the others. Like Paulo Dybala and Douglas Costa, for example, he lacks the sharpness that allows him to do what works best for him.

I didn't say much to the players after the game. I was angry and disappointed just like them, so it was best to stay quiet for such a moment.

It's a disappointment for the club, the players and the fans, but at present there is nothing we can do because we lack the sharpness.

Juventus' next assignment is the away match against Bologna on Monday, June 22, when the Serie A season - for "The Old Ladies" - resumes.
