我是锦鸿，来自中国天津。是一个12岁孩子的父亲的中年大叔。虽然已人到中年，但对新事物一直保持着好奇和探索的热情。
一个偶然的机会刷手机，从一个公众号看到介绍steemit的文章，看到发帖子，评论，点赞能够挣美元，出于新鲜和好奇，才接触这个平台。哪知道一接触才发现，这个平台和国内那些已经习惯使用的平台完全不同。也没想到不就发一个帖吗，怎么要学习了解这么多东西，单单是平台的使用说明，居然像读一本陌生的词典，感觉好复杂呀......不知其他人是怎样的，我中途几次差点放弃......或许这就是面对一个全新又陌生的事物要经历的过程吧。
硬着头皮经过几次断断续续的学习，总算搞清了个大概，今天终于设置好了头像和背景图片等基础资料，在steemit上开始发帖了，这就算是一个纪念吧。
第一次发帖有点小新鲜，也有点小忐忑。想到在此打开通向世界的大门，能结识到世界各国家的朋友们，还有点小激动。浏览了一些博主的帖子，居然他们好多都是七八年前就加入了，惊讶于steemit已经存在这么久之时，怎么感觉自己如此落伍，消息如此迟滞？.....
还好，只要开始就不算晚嘛。虽然具体写什么还没想好，但毕竟已经开始动作了，就以此作为开篇吧，希望多向平台的大鲸们学习，和大家多多互动交流，多串门，也希望自己能够坚持下来。

My name is Jin Hong, and I'm from Tianjin, China. I'm a middle-aged man, a father of a 12-year-old child. Despite being in my middle years, I’ve always maintained a sense of curiosity and passion for exploring new things.
One day, while casually scrolling through my phone, I came across an article on a public WeChat account that introduced Steemit. I learned that by posting, commenting, and liking posts, you could actually earn money. Intrigued by the novelty, I decided to give it a try. Little did I know, once I got into it, I realized this platform was completely different from the ones I was accustomed to using in China. I initially thought posting a simple article wouldn’t be that hard, but who knew it would require learning and understanding so much? The platform’s instructions alone felt like reading a foreign dictionary—it was all so complicated! I’m not sure how others feel, but I almost gave up several times along the way... Maybe that’s just the process you go through when facing something entirely new and unfamiliar.
Through a series of fragmented learning sessions, I finally grasped the basics. Today, I managed to set up my profile picture, background image, and other fundamental details. So, I’m officially starting to post on Steemit—this deserves a little celebration.
Posting for the first time feels a bit fresh, but also a little nerve-wracking. The idea of opening a door to the world and meeting friends from all over the globe gives me a sense of excitement. After browsing through some bloggers' posts, I found out that many of them joined as far back as seven or eight years ago! I was amazed to discover that Steemit had been around for so long, and it made me wonder how I’d been so out of touch and late to the game.
But then again, as long as you start, it’s never too late. I haven’t quite figured out what I’ll write about yet, but the important thing is that I’ve started taking action. Let this be the beginning, and I hope to learn from the big whales on the platform, interact with everyone, visit more posts, and most importantly, I hope I can stick with it.
