All the people who are making a list of places to visit while traveling the world, please take note, do not include these places on your list and if they are on your list then please put a big line on these places.

10 Deadliest Natural Places On Earth

Here are the Deadliest Natural Places On Earth that you must say no to -

1. Death Road

The name explains why “Death Road” is on the top of our list. Before being famous for all the wrong reasons this road was known as North Yungas Road. These 69 kilometers of twists and turns killed 300 drivers every year up until 1994. The road is usually covered with fog and many waterfalls that cross the road making it extremely muddy and slippery. Landslides are a phenomenon that occurs now and then on this thoroughfare. Need more reasons to be far away from this road? Here it is, to make it more difficult to cross, this road has cliffs falling 2,000 feet (610 meters) in each turn.

2. Death Valley

Another place that includes “Death” in its name to stay away from. The desert valley situated in the middle of California and Nevada is often deemed as “Death Valley” because of the extreme temperature of this place. There are only a few African deserts that can give this valley a competition in terms of heat during summers. With reaching new heights on the thermometer in July 2018, Death Valley is among the hottest places on Earth. The average temperature of the valley is 42-degree Celsius that can go up to 52.7 degrees. Feeling hot already, right?

3. Skeleton Coast

Could you even imagine going to a place named something like that? Skeleton Coast is tucked between the south of Angola and the North of Namibia. This place is on our list of “deadliest natural places on earth” because of its harsh weather and because it offers almost zero chance of survival. The lack of water, food, and extremely hot winds around this place keeps the travelers away from Skeleton Coast.

4. The Danakil Desert

The Danakil Desert in East Africa is amongst the most uninhabitable places in the world. With the temperature reaching as high as 50-degree celsius every day, volcanoes, and geysers dumping toxic gases in the air, the Danakil Desert remains unexplored by travel enthusiasts. Many aggressive travelers tried to take up the challenge of staying at this place but went back with many health issues.

5. Gates of Hell

You might have heard of the Gates of Heaven or Stairs to Heaven but here, we will introduce you to the Gates of Hell. The locals of Turkmenistan gave the infamous name “Gates of Hell” to the Turkmenistan Darvaza Gas Crater. There is a huge pocket of natural gas under the crater which some Geologists set on fire to prevent the Methane gas from spreading in 1971 and since then the crater is on fire. The neverending fire and explosions ooze out boiling mud and orange flames from the mouth of the crater making it one of the most dangerous travel destinations on our planet.

6. North Sentinel Island

North Sentinel Island is a part of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands group. The natives of this island have been living here in their old traditional ways and kept themselves disconnected from the outside world. Recently, a Christian preacher from the United States of America landed on this island with the hope of spreading the word of Jesus Christ, but the Sentinelese didn’t like his presence on their land and attacked him with arrows that killed him.
Another reason that people avoid going to this island is that the Sentinelese have zero immunity against diseases and outsiders might carry some germs and viruses with them that could wipe out the whole indigenous race.

7. Snake Island

Yes, you read that right. There is a whole island named after the venomous predators because of the golden lancehead snakes – a pit viper species rules this island. Snake Island is 25 miles off the coast of Brazil where you will find no human being strolling around. There is a rumor that the last fisherman who went close to this island was found dead in his boat and a pool of blood. The island is so dangerous that the Brazilian government made it illegal to visit this island.

8. Sahel Region of Africa

People often don’t pay attention to drought as much as they do to other natural disasters, but it can be a vicious killer.  According to reports, the droughts in this region of Africa have claimed more than 100,000 deaths between 1972 to 1984. The remaining 750,000 people became dependent on food aid from the UN as they were unable to grow their crops. So, avoid going to this region of Africa.

9. Lake Natron

Situated in the region of northern Tanzania, Lake Natron is the most inhabitable place on Earth. The presence of sodium carbonate decahydrate or Natron in the water of this lake is highly corrosive to human skin and eyes. Don’t let the millions of Flamingos breeding here fool you, this lake is dangerous for human beings.

10. Oymyakon

The small village in the Oymyakonsky district of Russia is known for its extreme climatic condition. The extremely cold weather makes it impossible to sustain life in this region. The temperature could go as low as -40 degrees celsius freezing anything and everything. If you decide to visit this place then you will need proper training and equipment to survive. Only 500 people have managed to settle and survive here.
