I'm an Android User. So, I use Play Store to Find suitable apps for me. There are Millions if apps in Play Store. I'm a Heavy Downloader. So I need to quickly achieve the content I want. But there are some apps that trying to to break boundaries and they try to give everything from one app. As I can imagine, there's only one great app.. That is Telegram.

Telegram is basically a Messaging app Just Like Whatsapp but it's made for only by basic needs. As an example We can post Statuses in Whatsapp but in Telegram, you can't do it because it's not a priority. But what we get extra from Telegram is priceless. So in here, I'm taking Whatsapp as a reference.

Audio Calls and Video Calls..

Actually this is not something I use but Just to know, Whatsapp have a limitation upto 8 members for Audio Calls and Video Calls. 8 is not enough.. I mean there's a practical side to reduce the number but having the ability to add more people to a call is far better. We can have it from Telegram. It allows upto 20 to have Video calls and there's no limit in members in an audio call which is crazy 😅.

Number of Members in a Group..

In a Whatsapp group, we can add only 256 members. I mean it's enough for many groups but I have experienced the times that 256 was not enough. But Telegram has a limit of 200, 000 members which is super crazy. You can create a Global Community through it.

Maximum File Sizes..

We all know we can't send a file bigger than 100MB through Whatsapp. Actually it's not enough for me. When it comes to Telegram, the limit goes upto 2GB which is crazy. We can share a 1080P movie via Telegram in one piece. People have created Telegram groups and they upload Movies and TV Series episodes to them. It's one of the easiest way to download them.

Telegram Channels

Telegram Channels are mostly like an extension of Telegram Groups. They are public. Anyone can achieve it if you have the relevant link for the channel. If you wanna get in touch with a channel, you should subscribe it. You can go through anything which was on the channel way before you subscribe. You just have to search in the channel.

Global Search Option

Think you wanna find a TV Series. What you have to do is just search on telegram. If it's available in Channels, it'll show you. But it's a limited feature. There's a possibility of not getting a good search result.

Emojis and Stickers

Oh My God.. this is very addictive. Animated Emojis are Great in Telegram. And you know, when you type an emoji, relevant Animated Sticker will come as results, so you can send a message.. It's a really good feature to have.

Method of Marking Messages as Read..

Think you have 200 unread messages in a group. You've read a few and you had to leave the app for something. If it was Whatsapp, all the messages will be marked as read. But in Telegram, it's not like that. Unread messages remain unread. That's a feature I really love.

Telegram and TelegramX

There are two telegram apps, Telegram and TelegramX. I really don't see any major differences but I think Video calls can't be taken in TelegramX.

Privacy Policies..

Whatsapp is been a highlight in this. After Facebook took over Whatsapp, this privacy policy thing came. But actually even before it came out, it happened. But in Telegram, you have no risks. Telegram uses an encryption method in sending messages. So it's safe. I've heard that terrorists also use Telegram for communication .😅

Things I don't Like in Telegram..

There's only one thing I don't like of Telegram and TelegramX. When you install Telegram, a folder will be created. Downloaded stuff will go there. But The thing is, names of downloaded things are not as they were in Telegram app. And in TelegramX, downloaded stuff are saved inside Android Folder. But it's better than renaming files though.

So just like that.. I've enjoyed so many luxuries in Telegram. And I've eased up my lifestyle through Telegram. I've found which are hard to find through Telegram. So, what could be my favorite app than Telegram??
