This is the first time we prepare and eat them, so we can not tell you if the taste is the same as the original, but we can tell you that our guests consumed everything and even asked to repeat!
Ingredients:
- One liter of milk
- 40 g butter
- a spoonful of salt
- 250 g semolina
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- black pepper
- one egg
Preparation:
Boil the milk with the butter, salt and pepper. Pour the semolina into the pot and stir well to break up any lumps. Cook the mixture for three minutes.
Remove from the heat, add the egg and the grated Parmesan cheese. Knead and roll the mixture into a sausage shape on a baking sheet and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Cut the roll into patties.
Grease a baking tray with butter, place the meatballs and brush them with melted butter.
Top with a handful of Parmesan cheese.
We have also made a version with Parmesan and bacon.
Bake at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.
