Habitat is the home that the different animals and organisms live in. These homes are sources of food, shelter and even security for animals and their types. Such Eco-systems include forests, deserts, wetlands, grasslands and oceans. Each habitat is occupied by species better adapted to it. Polar bears live in regions with cold ice while camels live in regions characterized by hot deserts.
However, Michael s activities such as deforestation, pollution and urbanization have put many habitats at risk. Consequently, numerous animals have to deal with habitat destruction which in turn tends to put them at the risk of becoming endangered or extinct. In other words, the destruction and degradation of natural habitats is a fundamental threat to biodiversity and to healthy ecosystems. Wildlife reserves, reforestation, and other sustainable practices are all positive steps that can help ensure that animals will always have homes in the wild.
