Maracaibo está desolada, esta avenida es una de las más concurridas en la ciudad y su trafico está reducido a unos pocos transeúntes, que vienen por sus compras al supermercado y vuelven a su encierro a cumplir con la cuarentena.

En mi zona y entre mis amistades cercanas no tengo referencia sobre casos de contagio y en vista de la obediencia civil ante el llamado de distanciamiento social aunque tenemos 2 casos en la ciudad, esperamos que no pase a mayores el número en los próximos días.
Nuestra situación es angustiante, como la de muchos, pero estamos haciendo el sacrificio para que no mueran más personas. Confiamos en que pronto podremos volver a una relativa normalidad y personalmente creo que el gobierno regional ha logrado mantener la situación controlada a pesar de nuestra cercanía con Colombia que presenta un grave caso de salud pública.

<In my area and among my close friends I have no reference to cases of contagion and in view of civil obedience to the call for social distancing, although we have 2 cases in the city, we hope that the number does not increase in the coming days.
<Our situation is distressing, like that of many, but we are making the sacrifice so that no more people die. We are confident that we will soon be able to return to relative normality and I personally believe that the regional government has managed to keep the situation under control despite our proximity to Colombia which presents a serious public health case.
