Recentemente Carlo Verdone ha dichiarato; "Roma mia, come t'hanno ridotta, ormai voglio andarmene via".
L'amore dell'attore per la sua citta' e' cosa nota, come quello di chiunque per il posto dove e' nato e cresciuto.
Amo Torino ma 20 anni fa decisi di andarmene per approdare in bassa Val Susa a 35 km dal capoluogo.
Una scelta che benedico ogni giorno, torno a Torino almeno una volta ogni 15 giorni quando gioco a pallone e poi vado a cena con i miei Villans gli amici di sempre e per sempre.
E' piu' che sufficiente.

Non e' che il mio amore per la mia citta' sia cambiato, semplicemente e' diventato difficile viverci, non a caso una buona percentuale di miei amici ha scelto di vivere nella prima o seconda cintura; Borgaro, Caselle, Villarbasse, Venaria, sei a un tiro di schioppo ma sei comunque fuori dal casino.
Ho avuto per anni palestre nel centro della citta', da un lato il fascino di lavorare in una citta' cosi' piena di storia, dall'altro il dover combattere ogni giorno con mille problemi e mile casini.
Troppo.

Credo siano problematiche che chiunque abiti in una grande citta' debba affrontare, o le accetti e ci combatti rischiando l'organo epatico o te ne vai cercando
di far quadrare vita privata e lavoro.
Conosco un po' Roma e' sempre stata un gran casino, una citta' costruita millenni fa che deve convivere con una complicata modernita', oramai fai fatica a muoverti persino con lo scooter tanto e' il traffico rallentato pure da lavori e buche.

Vivere fuori dalle citta' migliora sicuramente la qualita' della vita stessa ma poi comunque, per lavoro, in citta' ci devi andare lo stesso, magari sobbarcandoti ore di automobile.
Sono scelte che vanno ben ponderate.

LEAVING THE CITIES

Recently Carlo Verdone declared; "My Rome, how they have reduced you, now I want to leave".
The actor's love for his city is well known, like that of anyone for the place where they were born and raised.
I love Turin but 20 years ago I decided to leave to land in the lower Val Susa, 35 km from the capital.
A choice that I bless every day, I return to Turin at least once every 15 days when I play football and then I go to dinner with my Villans, my friends of always and forever.
It's more than enough.

It's not that my love for my city has changed, it's simply become difficult to live there, it's no coincidence that a good percentage of my friends have chosen to live in the first or second belt; Borgaro, Caselle, Villarbasse, Venaria, you're a stone's throw away but you're still out of the chaos.
I had gyms in the city center for years, on one hand the charm of working in a city so full of history, on the other having to fight every day with a thousand problems and a thousand messes.
Too much.

I think they are problems that anyone who lives in a big city has to face, either you accept them and fight them risking your liver organ or you leave trying to make your private life and work balance.
I know a little about Rome, it has always been a big mess, a city built thousands of years ago that has to coexist with a complicated modernity, now you struggle to even move with a scooter so much is the traffic slowed down by works and potholes.

Living outside the city certainly improves the quality of life itself but then, for work, you still have to go to the city, perhaps taking on hours of driving.
These are choices that need to be carefully considered.
