Promoting PhotoChain Challenge - Pot and Shadow

Greetings everyone. This post is again to promote the PhotoChain Challenge now on its 59th Week. This contest is hosted by @davidesimoncini in the Italian Community. I highly recommend this contest for those who look for creativity and excitement. Check out the contest post link here. Do read up and I really hope to see you in this Edition, and the next ones.

This week, the two keywords or objects that need to be in one photo are POT and SHADOW.

POT was chosen by the first winner of last week's Round, @olivia08 while SHADOW was chosen by yours truly, @gems.and.cookies. These keywords were objects found in the winners' entry photos last week, chosen by them and become the new keywords for this week.

It might still be a little bit confusing but hopefully the following illustration will explain this Contest better.

So, for this week I need to show a photo that has Pot and Shadow in it. Luckily, we had a bright shining sun this morning and our patio was basking in it. My wife has several potted plants along the far end of the patio and this morning the sun's angle created so many shadows of these potted plants.

As you can see from the photos above, the two keywords, Pot and Shadow, are both in the photos. I did some more shots to get a better angle that would show the keywords more prominently.

Now, two more things left to do. First is pick the picture which I will enter in the Contest. Second, and this is important, is choose one object from the photo which will by my personal keyword. If my entry wins, then my personal keyword becomes one of the two keywords for next week. Remember there are two winners.

So after reviewing my photos, I have chosen the picture below as my entry.

I chose this because it focuses more closely the two objects, Pot and Shadow. Now, I have to choose an object from this photo as my personal keyword. I have so many to choose from. I can choose Cat, Tiles, Plants, Flower, Green, Orange and a few more. What I choose becomes one of the keywords next week should I win. And I choose an object that will not be hard to find so more can participate. I choose PLANTS.
