In questo periodo storico così strano, dove le divisioni tra cittadini, familiari e amici sembrano sempre più forti e sempre più incolmabili, dove la paura sembra che non riesca lasciare il posto alla speranza, io ci vedo una grande opportunità.
Opportunità di pensare a noi stessi, a chi siamo e a cosa vogliamo diventare. Cercare passo dopo passo di costruire una vita che ci rispecchi, che rifletta la nostra vera natura. Ognuno di noi è differente, ognuno di noi ha un talento, una missione che può portare a compimento. Troppo concentrati a rispettare tutte le scadenze che una vita "normale" ci impone, abbiamo perso di vista chi siamo e quello che vogliamo essere.

E allora mi ritrovo a camminare lungo i sentieri di campagna che circondano la mia città, a riflettere su queste domande. Gli ultimi mesi sono stati abbastanza strani per me, ho messo in discussione tutto tranne che me stessa. E adesso provo a restare centrata su chi sono, sperando che il mio presente e il mio futuro mi possano rispecchiare sempre di più.

In this strange period of history, where the divisions between citizens, family and friends seem ever stronger and ever more unbridgeable, where fear seems unable to give way to hope, I see in it a great opportunity.
An opportunity to think about ourselves, who we are and what we want to become. To try, step by step, to build a life that reflects us, that reflects our true nature. Each of us is different, each of us has a talent, a mission that we can fulfil. Too focused on meeting all the deadlines that a 'normal' life imposes on us, we have lost sight of who we are and what we want to be.

And so I find myself walking along the country lanes surrounding my town, pondering these questions. The last few months have been quite strange for me, I have questioned everything but myself. And now I try to stay centred on who I am, hoping that my present and future will reflect me more and more.
