The vegetable garden which is expertly cultivated mainly by my partner's son was progressing wonderfully, I think that in a very few weeks, I won't say days but almost, we will be able to start talking about the various products that he planted some time ago, about a couple of hours ago I turned on the well pump, it was time to water, with the now well-known drop by drop system, the plot of land used as our vegetable garden and, checking here and there, I chose the subjects to shoot to include them in the my report today...

In the 1st image there is a small pumpkin, small but certainly in the next few days it will develop more than adequately, while in the 2nd shot, again from the same plant, there is a wonderful pumpkin flower, I really think it will be harvested very soon , together with some of his colleagues, and put them in the pan to fry, I really like fried courgette flowers, when he inserted a couple of courgette plants into the ground I immediately thought of them, of how tasty and good they are to eat ...

There are truly many improvements, small and large, that my partner's son has made, and will make in the future, for the care, cultivation and maintenance of the home vegetable garden, compared to what he achieved about ten years ago. forward is truly remarkable, the irrigation system, for example, is similar to the previous one, but the laying of the irrigation pipes, the frequency of the holes that simulate rain and the meticulous application of the same are all signs that the works have been carried out to perfection, not to mention all the checks on the pipes, joints and tires that carry the water from the well to the garden, a journey of almost fifty meters which was sifted inch by inch with the purpose of checking and removing any leaks, which would have compromised the regular functioning of the pressure switch that he himself installed...

L'orto che viene sapientemente coltivato principalmente dal figlio della mia compagna stavo progredendo meravigliosamente, penso che tra pochissime settimane, non dico giorni ma quasi, potremo iniziare a raccontare i vari prodotti che ha piantato qualche tempo fa, circa un paio di ore fa ho acceso la pompa del pozzo, era ora di annaffiare, con l'ormai noto sistema goccia a goccia, l'appezzamento di terreno adibito a nostro orto e, controllando in qua e in là, ho scelto i soggetti da riprendere per inserirli nel mio resoconto odierno...

Nella 1° immagine c'è un piccola zucca, piccola ma certamente nei prossimi giorni avrà uno sviluppo più che adeguato, mentre nel 2° scatto, sempre dalla stessa pianta, c'è un meraviglioso fiore di zucca, penso proprio che prestissimo verrà raccolto, insieme a qualche suo collega, e messo in padella, a friggere, mi piacciono da matti i fiori di zucca fritti, quando ha inserito nel terreno un paio di piantine di zucca ho subito pensato a loro, a quanto siano gustosi e buoni da mangiare...

Sono veramente tante le migliorie, piccole e grandi, che il figlio della mia compagna ha apportato, e apporterà in futuro, per la cura, coltivazione e manutenzione dell'orticello di casa, rispetto a quello che ha realizzato una decina di anni il passo in avanti è davvero notevole, l'impianto di irrigazione, ad esempio, è simile al precedente, ma la stesura dei tubicini di irrigazione, la frequenza dei fori che simulano la pioggia e l'applicazione meticolosa dei medesimi sono tutti segnali che i lavori sono stati eseguiti a regola d'arte, per non parlare di tutto il controllo dei tubi, dei giunti e delle gomme che portano l'acqua dal pozzo all'orto, un tragitto di quasi una cinquantina di metri che è stato setacciato palmo a palmo con lo scopo di controllare e rimuovere eventuali perdite, che avrebbero compromesso il regolare funzionamento del pressostato che ha lui stesso installato...
