Making "Jangjorim(boiled down in soy sauce)" with quail eggs :)
Not long ago, I introduced 'Braised Quail Eggs in Soy Sauce' in my article, and today, I'd like to briefly introduce how to cook it. It was supposed to be made as a side dish for my children in this morning, so I took few pictures.
First, prepare quail eggs. In the past, we used to boil and peel the quail egg ourselves, but these days, it's easy to cook as a package of trimmed quail eggs filled in soy sauce.
Put the contents of the pack in a pot as they are, add two more spoons of soy sauce, and boil them hard.
Then, slowly cool it down. As it cools, the soy sauce permeates evenly, turning the quail eggs into a very pretty, delicious brown color.
Looking at the glossy quail eggs, I want to eat them right away (I actually secretly ate a few ^^). Divide them into side dish containers, store them in the refrigerator, and take them out when we wanna eat them.
The braised quail eggs in soy sauce is delicious even if eat it cold or warm it up. It's a one of the children's favorite menu, so it'll run out soon, but it's okay because I can make it again easily.
