Today I am going to share one south Indian Recipe which we used to have in our everyday's life. Rasam is rich in Antioxidants and also prevent the free radical activity.
How to make Rasam Recipe
Ingredients
- Tomato - 1 Riped
- Tamarind - 1 Lemon small size
- Green Chili - 1
- Jaggery - 2 Tbsp
- Rasam Powder - 2 Tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric Powder - Half Tbsp
- Few Coriander Leaves
- Mustard Seeds - Half Tbsp
- Red Chili - 2
- Hing - 1/4th Tbsp
- Few Curry Leaves
- Vegetable Oil - 1 Tbsp
Method of Making Rasam
- First of all, Soak one lemon size tamarind in hot water.
- Take a pan and add mashed tomato, tamarind water, curry leaves, jaggery green chili, salt, turmeric powder ,Rasam powder and 3-4 Cup of water and bring it to boil.
- Cover the lid of the pan and boil it on low flame for 10 minutes.
- Now, its time to make a small tadka. Take another pan and add 1 tbsp of ghee and mustard seeds, curry leaves and broken red chili then pour the tadka to boiling Rasam.
- In the end, add coriander leaves and hing to the pan and boil it for another 5 minutes.
