STEEM CRYPTO CHALLENGE

I have been aware of crypto for quite a while now, but I will be honest with you from the start - I have never invested a single cent of my money in crypto, any crypto I have ever had has been earned in one way or another online. The best for me so far, in all honesty has been Steem. Why? Because it was the first place I was ever able to cash out some of what I earned and it has helped me every once in a while to get out of one of my financial urgencies. You have to be aware I am unemployed and from a third world country and I have no steady source of income so sometimes I do need a little extra, Steem has provided it for me.

Of course I have also had other coins, I have a little Hive and a reasonable amount of Blurt, Hive through the airdrop and a few posts I have made there and Blurt just off of posts, Blurt I am really hopeful about I am heading into being a dolphin, now I have nearly 9,000. Then I have had some others which I am positive are good, like 1UP which is the Uptrend token, and Vitae.

With Vitae trading my experience has been, well not so good. You see when I learned about Vitae I joined their Discord server and you could get some nice amounts of it, I got to have about 84 Vitae, but I downloaded the wallet and had sent about 12 to it. Then what always happens happened, I needed money so I sold the 70 Vitae I had on the Discord and sent over 11 Vitae in my wallet to Stakecube. The 70 I sold for $2.00, the next day the price went up to $3.50, so you can believe I was more than upset, I lost over $100.00. The other 11 didn't show up at Stakecube so i forgot about them. Then a couple of weeks ago, for some reason I logged on to my Stakecube account and you know, there they were. So of course I sold them, they were going for $3.20 at that moment, I sent them to an exchange about $35.00 and bought Hive with them.

Now you have to understand, I am trying to multiply my money, Hive was down and I figured it would go up soon. It didn't, in fact it went down and has mostly stayed there except for the last couple of days, I would about break even now. But that is not the bad part, 10 days after I changed my Vitae for Hive, Vitae went up to $12.00, so I actually lost on making about $100.00 again.

So I have been relatively good at earning some crypto, but as I don't invest what I get is not varied, I still go for Steem being my best coin, and it is also the one I have the most of (in value), but as a crypto currency trader, frankly I suck. So I hardly think I would invest money in it, but I am all for earning it online. The bad thing with this outlook is that I have joined a lot of sites worked them and they turn out to be scams. But that is OK every once in a while I come up with a good one that makes it all worthwhile, in reality the good part is when I know I have something stashed for when I really need it.

As for my perspective for the future, I know a lot of alt coins will make a lot of people very happy, so all I can say is, if you believe in a coin by all means try to add to it as much as you can with whatever means you have that you can afford to, maybe they will help you have a better life in the future.
