This flower is an ornamental plant that can grow anywhere.
As I'm posting now, this is a roadside growth in our village.
Four o'clock flowers originate from South America, with several color variations such as red, orange, yellow, and white. This plant belongs to the Nyctaginaceae family. The Chinese call it Zi mo li, while in England this flower is called the Peruvian miracle.
Mirabilis jalapa is the scientific name for this flower, where there are a myriad of health benefits behind its sweet roots and other plant parts that contain active substances.
Four o'clock flowers grow well in the low and high altitudes, where there is sufficient sunshine. Leaf shape resembles a heart, dark green color.

This plant is called the four o'clock flower, because it blooms in the afternoon around four and returns the next day.
The blooming process and flower buds are affected by light stimulation. When there is no light the flowers will bloom and when there is light the flowers will bloom again.
Four o'clock flowers are also beneficial for health such as for ulcers, acne medication and tonsils
