On this occasion I will share a photo of sunflowers.
"Helianthus" is the scientific name for Sunflower, Helia for Sun, and Anthus for Flower.

Sunflower is one of the most popular flower plants in the world. This flower has some unique facts, you know !!! Here's the explanation:

1. Facing the Sun
   Sunflowers belong to the genus Helianthus annuus L. In Greek, Helios means sun. Whereas annuus is a flower. The diameter of the sunflower heads reaches 30 cm. This flower also always blooms facing the sun.
2. Many Nicknames
   In various countries, the sunflower has a special designation. As in France, this flower is known as the Tournamesol or sun traveler. In the Philippines, this flower is known as mirasol. While in Japan it is known as himawari.
3. Sunflower Oil
   Apart from being an ornamental plant, the Ukrainian national flower contains many useful oils. Sunflower oil is rich in linoleic acid. Linoleic acid is good for human health. Typically, sunflower oil is used for frying, thickening, or for salad dressing.
4. Absorb Nuclear Radiation
   In Fukushima, Japan, millions of sunflowers were deliberately planted after the 2011 tsunami disaster. The disaster destroyed a nuclear power plant reactor, causing radiation to the environment. Millions of sunflowers are planted because they help absorb nuclear radiation.
5. Wither in the Afternoon
   So for those of you who want to pick sunflowers to put them in a vase, pick them in the morning, because in the afternoon the sunflowers will look wilted.
