Israeli grass (Asystasia gangetica) is a semi-wild ornamental plant that belongs to the Asystasia Genus.
The flowers are trumpet-shaped with many color variants. Starting from white, yellow to purple combinations. This plant is usually found on the side of the road, ditch or empty yard. Often this plant may also be found in shady forests & plantations. Actually this Israeli Grass really likes to grow in damp & shaded (shady) places, but if it grows in open or dry areas, this Israeli Grass will actually flower a lot.

This plant is often considered a weed. On the other hand, according to some literature, the presence of Israeli grass plants is useful for balancing soil fertility nutrients.
