A hike on the mountain Sandmofjellet is an nice and easy walk up to around 360 m. above the sealevel. From the parking and up it is aproximately 3,5 km. This Sunday we got a 7 km nice hike in the sunshine. The sun still give a little warmth, even not enough to melt the ice an snow in the hight, but a cup hot coffee tasted great while enjoying the view.

That is spectacular views. Seeing them I just can't stop thinking about the paintings of old masters, on and off I wonder if in the past they also set off early mornings and created their beautiful landscape painting. There was no cameras that time and no luxury of doing painting in warm nice indoor, while it is raining and cold outside. Maybe that is a reason why such painting have something very special. I like that curious look of Nero sniffing that icy plant. Great trip to North. Thank you for your journey and wishing you nice weekend :)

It is much more easy wit cameras. Quite different challenge when painting outside. We can take pictures and keep going when cold. Nero sniff firs then eat the ice😄

That is really funny. By the way, wanted to ask you, how is the situation in Narvik with Covid? We have again increased cases and hospitals are getting more people. Will see if there will be again reduced elective work in our hospital

It increase in Norway to. Luckily we have had only 2 cases last month in Narvik, but several places have more. The hospital in Hammerfest f.eks is closed because of COVID-19 among the personal and pasients. Bigger cities has also more cases. I hope people take it serious and are careful
