Yes, the view towards the sea are magnificent.
It is however, a bit sad to see these places neglected, as obviously they don't bring any profit to the country...
You;re right though, as every time I visit the city, I feel strongly attracted to this place and I take that promenade :)

Neglect is never nice to see, no. People are all about profits these days, so I suppose the neglect and the lack of money go hand in hand.... if there is nothing of financial gain to really offer then that decline is pretty imminent.
