The anniversary of the death of Bruce Lee was on July 20, this martial artist, writer, film and television actor, died in a much-discussed incident during the filming of a film in 1973, in Kwoloon Tong, Hong Kong (China).
For years, I heard that his death was due to an accident with a weapon on the recording set, others said that it was due to his training with electric shocks, which were used to electro-stimulate the muscles, there are also those who said that he was about a murder by the Chinese Mafia (The Triads) and others said that it was due to a drug overdose, in short, that there were so many versions that one could not get anything clear. What was left for history is that this man, with his charismatic performance, his career on the screen (both on the Big Screen and on the Small Screen of #TV), his dissertations as a speaker at universities and his books, left a brand that can still be felt today.
I admit that his facet as a writer is not very well known to me, I still have the task of looking for and reading his books, such as "The Tao of Jeet Kune Do" or the #book of "8 internal doors of pain", which as far as I understand, address the philosophical aspects of the martial art that he had developed, his famous Interceptor Fist, as well as his philosophical position regarding the approximation through Martial Art between the Western and the Eastern world, between the centuries-old tradition of martial warriors and the vertiginous advances of contemporary society in its time.

El aniversario de la Muerte de Bruce Lee fue el pasado 20 de julio, este artista marcial, escritor, actor de cine y televisión, murió en un muy discutido incidente durante el rodaje de una película en 1973, en Kwoloon Tong, Hong Kong (China).
Durante años, escuché que su muerte era debido a un accidente con un arma en el set de grabación, otros decían que fue por causa de su entrenamiento con descargas eléctricas, que se usaban para electro-estimular los músculos, hay también quienes decían que se trataba de un asesinato de la Mafia China (Las Tríadas) y otros más decían que fue por una sobredosis de droga, en fin, que había tantas versiones que uno no podía sacar nada en claro. Lo que si quedaba para la historia es que este hombre, con su actuación carismática, su carrera en la pantalla (tanto en la Gran Pantalla como en la Pequeña Pantalla de la #TV), sus disertaciones como orador en universidades y sus libros, dejó una marca que aún en la actualidad se puede sentir.
Admito que su faceta como escritor no me es muy conocida, tengo aún la tarea de buscar y leer sus libros, como “El Tao del Jeet Kune Do” o el libro de “8 puertas internas del dolor”, que hasta donde entiendo, abordan los aspectos filosóficos del arte marcial que él había desarrollado, su famoso Puño Interceptor, así como su postura filosófica en cuanto a la aproximación por medio del Arte Marcial entre el mundo occidental y el oriental, entre la tradición centenaria de guerreros marciales y los avances vertiginosos de la sociedad contemporánea a su tiempo.

Now, when I see the reference to the wardrobe that #Lee wore in one of his internationally successful #movies, that yellow sportswear, I can't help but think that it really became an icon, just like it happened to me when I saw the Tarantino movie "Kill Bill" with Uma Thurman locked in a bloody fight while wearing the iconic costume.
Ahora, cuando veo la referencia al vestuario que vistió Lee en una de sus películas de éxito internacional, esa ropa deportiva amarilla, no puedo dejar de pensar que de verdad se convirtió en un ícono, tal como me pasó al ver la película de #Tarantino "Kill Bill" con Uma Thurman enfrascada en una lucha sangrienta mientras viste el traje emblemático.
