We cannot control the crypto exchanges, but we can influence the prices somewhat if we sell steem on the crypto exchanges.

My thought is to delete all sell orders and set them up at the price of $0.20 - $0.25

We can drive a boost by moving the bottom line up a bit the price to $0.20 - $0.25

For this to work, everyone who sells steem must be part of this campaign, steemians and local communities must further communicate the campaign to all their members ❤️

The month of January has started why can't we try it out January, delete the old order and set up an order of at least $0.20 for 1.steem

All steemians,"One for all and all for One" let's use that slogan to stand united in this campaign

I am calling out to all of you, Local communities and Steemians to join the campaign. Post and let everyone know about this.

Feel free to add a link to your post here in the comment field and you will get a small upvote from our trail

Use the tag #steem-price in your post so that all steemians find the posts and maybe it is possible to have a competition for this campaign as well, what do you think

Would appreciate it if local communities that join this campaign leave a link here

Your words are very encouraging, in any case, your idea is very good. The @bambuka says, "This should be a long-term initiative" but how?" The other side is more important - STEEM should become more attractive" yes right, @bambuka hits the nail on the head with his words.

Please take a look at this link, I would be interested in your opinion

Yes, @bambuka hits the nail on the head

There are many good points in the post you refer to.

After all, we have our own DAO and I don't think many users are aware that 10% of their rewards go to this fund
After we had the split with Hive, this fund was frozen, the fund today has large values of SBD and it is still added 10% from all posts as far as I know.
This fund should be converted to buy steem and burn steem
Burning 10% of what is given from the rewards every week will have a big impact on the value of steem

It's a good idea, but it can only work in one case... EVERYONE should do this and stay at this price for quite a long time. One month won't solve anything. This should be a long-term initiative.
At the same time, I don't plan to leave the 100 club yet. I think that this is also a deterrent to the fall in the rate of our token.
It would be ideal to have orders with a high token price, but at the same time they should be as small as possible (the 100 club should grow).
But this is only the technical side of the issue.
The other side is more important - STEEM should become more attractive. We can set the price at least $1...but who will be interested in it.
A difficult question.

Agreed, everyone must contribute

Let my contribution be the #club100 for a long time :)

Hi @xpilar

Thanks for sharing link to this publication with me.

My strong belief is that even if we would all work together to influence price of STEEM token, then we're kind of doomed to fail until this bear market will be over.

I don't really have any ideas on what could be done (even by STINC) to impact value of steem in positive way during current market condition. And also I believe, that during next bull run Steem will do quite well because of strong community (which can help to bring loads of noise). Projects with strong communities attract more attention than those without community backing it up.

I'm myself staying away from selling any STEEM at current price, however ...
I with to see your suggestion as efficient way of making impact on price of steem, but I don't think it is the way to go. Encouraging thousands (or even only hundreds) of content creators to follow that idea would be .. mission impossible.
And worse of all - it's not a long term solution.

ps. Hopefully you had a great time during recent Christmas and new year celebration. Take care of yourself :)
Yours, Piotr

Yes, it is not an easy task, but doing something is better than doing nothing. So it's worth a try
The best thing is that nobody sells at a dumping price, but rather takes a power up and also follows the clubs. Most people will benefit from it in the long run

Yes, we had a great time with family during the Christmas celebration

I think in general, the problem is there is too much Steem on the market, no matter how high we set up the price, if there is no buyer and no interest to buy it will not bring much.

You can see that Hive has the same problem.

It is more important to have the people who will either buy large amount and stake, so that is out of the market. That is only possible if:

  • there will be investors who buy and stake it, or
  • burning of large amount of Steem and it is really large like Millions

We can see that with burning of Tron the value remained stable.

Also the fact that there is no Tron in payout make the price for Tron stable, otherwise thee users, usually sell their Trons and that would also overflow the market with Tron. But with not paying Tron the price is stable.

I agree that there is too much steem in the market and that we need to burn a lot of steem to keep the price stable, but we have to start somewhere.
Some people buy steem when they are sold on the market otherwise steem would have no value.
And if everyone who earns steem from their posts and doesn't sell below $0.20 it will have an effect.
A greater effect is, of course, if most people do not sell and run a power up throughout January.

Unfortunately, there are some who milk steem to buy another coin and it also affects our steem price, I have previously tried to tell about those users because it is about a lot of steem being drained, but it seems that no one cares.

But in any case, I think it's worth trying to get everyone involved in this campaign in January

I wonder if setting up such price $0,20 people will be able to sell, because there always will be someone who will drop the price even outsider. If the Steemians will not be able to get rid the Steem for such price they will drop it too, especially if someone relies on Steem like on financial income.

Im joining this conversation 😃

especially if someone relies on Steem like on financial income

Agreed, this is one of the use cases and should remain a use case for these. That's the point of it and how it's marketed, get rewarded for being a content creator, content creators also need to pay bills right? The beauty of social rewarding platforms like steemit and hive is seeing people in poor countries thrive because this use case changes lives.

Some people buy steem when they are sold on the market otherwise steem would have no value

Great point @xpilar, is it short term traders or investors betting on profit down the line, they will also pay themselves off the APR at least, investors will look for return on investment or there is no point in it right?

If you could pay yourself with the post reward or club50 and prize could thrive in such a way the platform will be a success. But how..

I think currently it is marketed as "do post and get paid" that is why people who do blog orientated in making some money from posting. The posting is producing steem and more we generate the less price will be, it is like ordinary Inflation, when too much banknotes printed the value will drop.

Yes, it is better if postpayout is SBD, as on hive it still pays HBD, prices need to drop below 0,6 for a haricut on HBD. This reduce sell pressure of steem.

The system on Steemit so programmed when the value of Steem and SBD falls the SBD debt ration is low as 10% then it will be no SBD issued

image.png

Ok ty

The simple answer is to burn more steem

If you could pay yourself with the post reward or club50 and prize could thrive in such a way the platform will be a success. But how..

I wish I had the details on that

yea me2

especially if someone relies on Steem like on financial income.

Yes, it can happen, but they get paid better if the price goes up

This is a great idea and I fully support it. It's important that we all work together to try and increase the price of steem. By setting up sell orders at a higher price and promoting the campaign to as many people as possible, we can potentially drive up demand for steem and increase the price.

I will definitely be participating in this campaign and will spread the word to my local community and other steemians. Let's do everything we can to boost the price of steem and make it a strong and successful cryptocurrency.

I agree with the idea of using the #steem-price tag in our posts and potentially even having a competition for the campaign. This could encourage more people to get involved and add some excitement to the campaign. Let's make it happen

Great @artist1111 , here we go, hopefully the campaign will be massive

It could be a good idea to give a try..

Yes, it's worth a shot, but everyone has to join

That certainly sounds like a worthy idea... something needs to happen; although what we really need is a compelling reason for people to buy Steem... and to hold on to the Steem they already have.

Yes, it's worth a try if everyone can join

You are very right

The campaign is highly need.💪💪

yes It's worth a try

Yeah 👍🏼

This is a good idea. My sell orders are placed at $0.50. Therefore, it can be considered that I have been participating in this campaign for a long time :-)

In fact, authors have very little influence on the price of STEEM, investors have an incomparably greater influence. However, both are part of the same community. If we set ourselves a target of $0.2 and sell only at a higher price and at the same time buy back the token at a lower price than $0.2, it would have an effect.

In general, we as a community have an impact on everything. But we lack the activity of each individual member of the community.

Yes, we need many people to join the campaign, everyone must be involved

this is a policy that is enough to allow steem prices to be jacked up, it only takes compactness to pump up prices, and I think we have to unite for this brilliant idea, let's try for this. thanks for the amazing thought.

Yes, let's spread the word and get everyone involved

Okey sir

This is good, it can help the Steem token if majority of the users and other communities welcome this initiative! Definitely it could help Steem Price this January.

Re-Steem, hopefully other could join, also if this initiative could be mixed with contest user's could participate alot and also if there could be a way to communicate with communities headers to reintroduce this initiative to their members too...

Regards,

Yes, let's spread the word and get everyone involved

Steem On

👍

I only understand one thing in the demand and supply principle and I think it can play a major role here.

unfortunately, STEEM is undervalued due to it's fall in price.

However, if this Idea is going to work and can be implemented by other users across the blog, then we can definitely boost of something better in the future.

Yes, it's worth a try. but we have to get many people involved in the campaign

You are absolutely right !

and here is a little contribution to that :

https://steemit.com/steemit/@mini40/have-you-seen-my-goals

Thanks for supporting the campaigns, great post

Thank you very much for appreciating my post.

From what I understand, we have to put part of our Steems up for sale. If we do so, as @bambuka says, we will lose our status in the club we are in, is that correct?

On the other hand, do you know if the rewards in TRX will come back, or have they come to an end?

Thanks for keeping the flame alive.

You don't lose club staus if you follow the rules, it's only when you take out more steem than what the rules dictate

TRX is promised to be paid out

A wise decision. We can even raise the bar, but there should be buy orders to show our intentions to the market.

Yes that is correct

Hello @xpilar,

This idea is definitely worth giving a try , but I personally think it will be very difficult to initiate this as there are lot of other traders who only trade in Steem/BTC , Steem/USDT pairs other than selling revenue generated by creating content.

I'm powering up continuously .. can't make mind to sell Steem to current price anyway. Market is down to the bottom. Looks like we have to wait some time.

Good day !

Thanks for the feedback
Yes, it is not easy and if not all local communities want to promote this campaign, it is not possible to get there
Currently, local communities on steemit are not showing interest in this campaign
