SEC-S14W2 | Surviving in the Nature (Island)

Hello all steemit friends wherever you are, good afternoon and best wishes always to everyone... On this occasion I am back to participate in a contest held by the Traveling Steem Community in the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 14 Week 2 with the contest theme: "Surviving in the Nature (Island)".

Every normal human being certainly prefers to live or live in the most comfortable place. Home is the best place for everyone to live their daily life. But we never know what we will experience in life someday. It could be that we will be faced with a choice where we will live and live our lives. This place could be a desert, forest or remote island that we have never imagined before. Living in all natural places is of course not as easy and comfortable as living at home.

The desert is a very hot place and it is very difficult to survive for a long time. So in my opinion it is impossible for people to think about choosing to survive in that place for any reason. Meanwhile, the forest is also a difficult place to survive, although there is still the possibility of surviving well in this area. Because in the forest there are various needs that are really needed as support. However, to survive there are also many risks that must be faced. Even though I have knowledge about the forest, I think it will be difficult to survive in the forest for various reasons.

The only suitable place for people to survive is an island. Here we can get better access compared to forests and deserts. On the island we can easily get necessities such as water and fresh fruit. On the island it is also easy to find various plants that are needed. Likewise, the risks faced on an island are not too heavy. However, that doesn't mean there are no challenges to be faced on the island, because wherever we are, obstacles will always be faced.

I think cooking skills are the most important thing and everyone must have them, especially in urgent situations. We really need cooking skills when preparing food. We can grill fish or boil shellfish that we get on the beach. Not just cooking, other skills are also needed such as swimming and climbing. To avoid various risks, we can climb a tall tree to survive while waiting for help to arrive.

Apart from having skills, another important thing we need is a cell phone. Nowadays, cellphones are the main thing needed to ask for help quickly. However, cell phones have disadvantages when we have to survive in places where the network is less than optimal or in remote areas. Because of that, we certainly need other items such as knives that can be used quickly. One of the most important things you must have is a fire starter that can be used to make fire.

Urban lifestyle is certainly different from rural lifestyle. Currently, cities can provide many easy access for us. We can do many jobs and things to support life easily. I think there is no loss if we depend on these methods because we are in a modern era that demands us to do that. But that doesn't mean we forget manual methods to do a lot of work if at any time we need it. That way we will be ready to face various things that we did not expect beforehand.
