我为什么会买这本书呢？最开始是在网上看到其他家长推荐，心里便有了几分好奇。接着我去搜了搜DK科普系列丛书的销售排行情况，发现这本书居然在排行榜上名列前茅，排第二或者第三。
我们家其实已经买了好几本DK系列的百科全书。比如排行第一的《DK世界博物百科》，我们买了有好些年了，书壳和书页都被儿子翻得破破烂烂，足见孩子对它的喜爱。
这本《DK时间线上的全球史》让我下定决心购买，主要是因为它解决了一个长期困扰我的历史学习难题。以往我们看全球史和中国史，总是很割裂，感觉世界史和中国历史就像两条永不相交的平行线。
很难把同一时间国内外发生的事情串联起来，学习的时候就会感到困惑，难以形成一个完整的历史认知。而这本书最大的亮点，就是打破了这种隔阂 。
它从头到尾按照时间顺序，用一条清晰的时间线，通过上下牵引注释的方式来介绍著名的历史事件，让全球历史成为一个有机的整体。
在这本书里，每一个时间段前面都设有详细的章节进行具体介绍，然后再展开分散叙述。比如当我们看到中国的春秋战国时期。只需对照时间线，就能同步了解到古希腊城邦的繁荣发展，通过这样的对比，不同地区历史发展的脉络瞬间就变得清晰明了。

Today, I'd like to recommend a history-related book that I just bought for my child. Although I bought it for my child, in fact, I really want to read it myself. It is DK A Global History in Time.
Why did I buy this book? At first, I saw other parents recommending it online, and I became somewhat curious. Then I searched for the sales ranking of the DK science popularization series of books and found that this book was actually among the top ones, ranking either second or third.
We have actually bought several encyclopedias in the DK series at home. For example, DK World Encyclopedia of Nature, which ranks first, has been in our family for several years. The cover and pages have been worn out by my son, which fully shows how much he loves it.
