A bit of light snow overnight with freezing temperatures left the area with a pretty coating of soft white which was beautiful although it made the footing just a tad slippery for my run.
Fortunately the ground wasn’t too frigid so after 3 miles around the neighborhood I was able to head up the hills onto some more challenging roads. A bit slushy but without any wind the conditions weren’t that bad.
I managed decent paced miles and my legs felt good for an 8 mile total which is fine with just a couple of weeks until my hundred miler in Nevada.
