My 2024 so far.

Hello 🤗 guys, I welcome you all to my blog today. Today, I want to join the contest with the title My 2024 so far. This contest was organized by the @teamvenezuela.

2024 is a year that came with many memories both good and bad. It is indeed a year to remember because it has really affected my life positively and negatively as a person. In this post I'm going to summarise how this year has affected me positively and negatively.

Always when the end of the year comes like this humans sit to reflect on how the year was spent and the essence of this is to enable them check if the have made improvement from the previous or there are needs for more improvement.

2024 is not an exceptional. They year started with everything working out perfectly for me as I was able to achieve a lot of things both online here on Steemit and offline. So let's first look at my achievements before looking at the tragedy that befall me in this year.

Achievement of 2024

The first achievement I want to share with you all is the achievement I made by hitting 55k SP this year. As a Steemian you know how tough it is to accumulate such amount of Steem power but with God by my side and consistency I was able to achieve that success this year 2024.

Another achievement I made was getting employed as the branch manager of the Microcima Africa Akwanga branch Nigeria. Staying at home become so boring so I decided to look for an office job and in my quest to search for a job I was given an employment with a micro finance Bank and not just as a normal worker, I was given an appointment as the branch manger to oversee the happenings here in Akwanga.

It was indeed a pleasant moment for me and I really appreciated that. Another major achievement which I made this year was getting an award from the state government in my state for further studies in my field of studies I e., Masters degree programme. Though I haven't gone for the studies yet but all preparations are in progress to ensure that I pursue my masters programme in one of the best countries around the world.

Lastly, another achievement I have made is being selected as one of the community curator for the month of December. It has been a while such an opportunity was given to me and I'm very delighted and happy that I was found worthy by the Steemit team in this last week of the month to work as a community curator.

Challenges of 2024

Just as I have listed my achievements for the year 2024, I also have a few challenges for the year 2024. Indeed the year kept me speechless with the many tragic things that happened in my family.

My uncle and my Anty became severely very sick in this very year. We tried our best in picking them from one hospital to the other and even from one harbal home to the other. We spent millions of Naira in trying to ensure that they get well but all effort in trying to ensure that they get fine proved abortive.

In September 23, my uncle who says to us that he feels he is getting better and that he want to leave the hospital and stay in his house died immediately we took him to the house after all the effort to ensure he gets back on his feet. It was a very tragic moment for us because he is my mother favourite brother.

While still on this, in November 18, my Anty who was also sick and was carried from one hospital to another also gave up the ghost. It was indeed a terrible moment for my family because my mother almost killed her self as she saw her siblings dieing before her very present.

Myself it wasn't an easy period for me because I had to resign from my place of work to sympathize with my mother and my other siblings. I cried bitterly because my Anty was the person who helped me all through the process of my scholarship and she wasn't alive to see me travel out let alone see the result I will come back with.

It was indeed a painful experience for me this very year because I lost two valuable people in my family and in my life.
