Reading through your diary gave me reasons to smile. For some reason, I could visualise how you went about the parts of your day, that you highlighted in this entry.
Unloading the building blocks reminded me of a time in my life spent in Ekpoma, Nigeria. Surely, it is not the most sought after work considering the physical strength required to perform the task. In Ekpoma working construction was colloquially referred to as "Lebuke" pronounced [lay-boo-kay]. Fun fact, I suppose.
If I may, do you know what that type of beans is called? Or rather, what it is called in Cameroon?
Is "Maggi" the only (maybe most popular?) condiment used in cooking in Cameroon?
