Hello everyone I hope you are all ok and enjoy the good life by the grace of Allah Almighty I am here for participate in the amazing contest which organised by the Steem Cameroon the name of this contest is International and National awareness day in this post we discussed about the World Civil Defence Day so let's start;

World civil defence day is a global international day which is celebrated on the 1 March every year this day is reference to the taken some important steps to protect the citizens and communities natural disasters, man-made disasters, and other emergency situations in the civil defence many other activities are included like emergency public education and awareness, and the provision of emergency services.

This day was established in 1990 by the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO) the structure of civil defence is also known as civil protection it's really important to manage civil defence for the management after disasters world participate in a variety of activities to raise awareness about civil defense and emergency management.

It's really important to know for the people and communities about the defence of country The organization works to strengthen the capacity of its member states to prepare for and respond to disasters, and it provides training, technical assistance, and other support to its members The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of civil defense and emergency management.

The theme of this day is raise the importance of civil defence but every year this day has different theme but the overall focus is always on the importance of civil defense and emergency management the theme of recent year Building Resilience and this year was Protect the children the first time this day was celebrated in 1990 by the international Civil Defence Organization (ICDO) it was promoted in 1931 in civil defence on the global scale so it's really important to aware the people about the importance of civil defence and role of in development of country.

Here we discussed some major steps to take on world civil defence day so let's see the below;

• We should promote the awareness about defence in our communities.

• We should organise the seminar and conference to aware the people.

• We should participate in the training of civil defence and improve the skills to face disasters.

• Government should give award and recognise the efforts of emergency responders.

• We should work with the organizations for the learning and experience to face disasters.
