Warm greetings from my end. I come today with a chitchat on how to keep your friendship healthy. Friendship is something that surfaces in the course of knowing someone you jus got aquainted to. Most of the time, it happens because you get to realise that the person you just met and had a discussion with has thesame or similar goals to life as you. From this spark, friendship gets to develop. This not withstanding, there are times that friendship gets to have loopholes in the course of time, but that doesn't mean it was a bad connection.
Below are some tips on addressing differences in friendship;

Firstly, incase you have a friend who has the habit of complaining or complains alot about something or almost everything, it is understandable of how mind draining it can be. What you should do is to not take it too personal. Advice her to always use "I"when expressing him/herself. This will make her feel included in what she is saying and ofcourse feel a pinch of it. This will also make her realise that the issue might not be you she is criticizing, it might be him/her.

Secondly, if a friend does not appreciate your efforts in trying to help him/her out in a given situation, endeavour to use statements like ; i would have loved to do more or better but my current situation cannot permit me do so. Be honest on how far you can go to render help. This will prevent him/her from expecting too much from you.
Thirdly, if your friend is good at crticizing you, always try to know why by asking why such is being said to you. It is okay for your friend to point out some issues about you but not overly being critical. It is worthy to understand that, some criticisms can come as a rssult of your friend being so self critical. Here, it is best to talk it out nicely with her and observe the change that comes with time.
Furthermore, some people feel they are into friendships that are one sided, meaning it does not involve give and take. Don't get it wrongly, I'm not saying if a friend offers you something it means you must return the favour. The logic here is this, it is best to make your friend understand you got their back. It's been noticed that about 80% of people expect their efforts to be reciprocated in friendships.
Lastly, if you have a friend that doesn't repsect his or her space or boundaries and wants to know everything about you on a daily basis and you aren't comfortable about it, simply make it clear in a nice way or tone by telling her you do not like talking about your personal life.
In conclusion, friendship is an enjoyable thing if there is honesty, care, mutual respect and understanding. Overgeneralising statements like you never or you always is not healthy at all.
