Good morning guys...

Be refresh as together we meditate on God's word this morning. Amen

“God, who supplies seed for the sower and bread to eat, will also supply you with all the seed you need and will make it grow and produce a rich harvest from your generosity. He will always make you rich enough to be generous at all times, so that many will thank God for your gifts which they receive from us. For this service you perform not only meets the needs of God’s people, but also produces an outpouring of gratitude to God."
2 Corinthians 9:10-12 (GNT)1

From yesterday's devotional, we learned that God would take care of us. But we did not say why He does that. Today, this is the bottom line: God provides for your needs so that through you, He can meet the needs of others.

He has been in the business of looking for people He can use. God looks around and asks, “Will you allow me to use you as a cup or a dried stalk of grain?” If you are a cup, I will just fill you up, and that is all. But if you say, “God, I will be a dried stalk of grain, and you can bless others through me,” God will say, "you are just the right kind of person I want to bless."2

Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 9:10-11 said, “God, who supplies seed for the sower and bread to eat, will also supply you with all the seed you need and will make it grow and produce a rich harvest from your generosity. He will always make you rich enough to be generous at all times” (GNT).3

The Bible in this text promises the following: (1) God will supply you with seed for sowing and bread to eat, (2) God will make your seed grow and produce a rich harvest, and finally (3) He will make you rich enough. All these promises are meant for you, you should claim them in Jesus' name. From the text, God has also given us a premise to His promises. He said that if you are willing to share what He supplies to you. Question: Are you willing to source of God’s blessing to others?

One Sunday after church service, a guy met me and said, "Pastor, your sermon about generosity was powerful, it really touched my heart! But Pastor, I have a worry." I said okay, let me know what your worry is. He said, "Pastor, now that I am not rich enough to be generous, what will I do?”4 I said, "Oh, yes, you are very rich! No matter how much or how little you think you have, you can be generous with it."

Have you read the story of the woman in the Bible who had only two pennies, yet she gave them away? The idea that you don’t have enough to give is a lie you are believing.5 You can always give something if you start trusting God more. God's intention has always been that those who allow themselves to be used by him to bless others will be greatly rewarded as God will be praised because of their generosity. (2 Cor. 9:12).

Even those who are going through very challenging times can still say, “God, I don’t have much, but I am willing to share. I only have this small amount of food, but I am going to invite somebody over to share it with me.”

When you do this, God fulfills three promises in your life. First, you grow spiritually. Second, God uses you to meet other people’s needs. And, third, you bring God glory.

When you are generous with others and give away what you have, God will open the door of heaven and pour down blessings in your life in ways you cannot imagine.

Well said man of God! When God is trusted, his word becomes very real in our lives.

Amen.
Thank you for sharing.
One thing I have learned about generosity is that, when you hold for yourself what God has told you to give to others, you block the door for bigger things to come in.

Thank you for reading dear
