Humanitarians are persons that put humanity infront front of them, offering aid or assistance, material donations. Humanitarians are persons ready at the beg and call of society to evaluate and introduce immediate solutions for better living.
Usually called volunteers these persons recieve very little recognition from the public they serve. More about ingratitude in this link.
An international day was set by the UN every 19th of August to celebrate the works of humanitarians. This years theme centers around Climate Change, a plague chopping our communities.
Dance for Development, an art organization aimed at using art for community development commemorates this day in the city of Bamenda,
@Cameroon to celebrate these selfless set of persons. In effect, we will be dancing to support Humanitarians.
We are bringing in Steem as a community platform through the assistance of
@The Greens who is the country representative of Steem in
@Cameroon. On this day we partner with steem througj dance to show appreciation to humanitarians.
On the agenda of the day, we have;

We therefore call on the steemit team for support to be able to host this program at a good standard. The total cost could be placed at 100USD i.e 13SBD. Already the organizing team with the help of
@peacemaker who is the Patron of Dance for Development, bargains were made to get the minimum on the above cost. The team has so far raised 30,000FCFA so we lack half.

We have had a couple of practice seesions to prepare the choreography for that day.
We are 50% ready for this event and we are sure it will be a success with the support if steem. For the remaining days;
