Hi guys, so here's a thing, I stepped out today to go get toothpaste and I heard one of the most should I say horrible story I have heard in a while, I learnt a whole lot from it and yes I will be sharing the story with what I learnt here, just stay locked in for a while let me tell you.
I heard the story of a woman (my neighbor) who was just arrested some hours ago, I was told she was arguing with someone at her work place and she made a simple yet gravy statement. She told her co-worker and I quote "be me, if I don't harm you", other workers were there and when this other one she was quarrelling with went out to get something that afternoon, she had an accident and died at the spot so the other workers that were there and heard what she said quickly reported her to the police authority.
Now this woman has been arrested and might be charged for murder, I don't know how she got herself into this, but what if she was able to tame her tongue?, what if she was able to hold herself back and get a grip of herself, would she have entered this kind of issue? From all indications, this woman is not even a troublesome person, very jovial and down to earth but look at what has happened because she was unable to control her tongue while she was angry.
The bible says that the power of life and death lies in the tongue, you can either make or destroy yourself, society and relationship with your tongue. The tongue has killed people more than any other ammunition, it has destroyed relationships, sent others to depression and even destroy trusts that was built over years and decades.
The tongue cna set fire in the whole city within a twinkle of an eye, it can also bring peace to a troubled soul. Learn to bridle your tongue please, be quick to hear but slow to speak, the days are evil so you won't be in anywhere associated in someone's death.
Do not for any reason use your tongue to curse yourself or someone else, use it to bless, use it to unite and not scatter. Master the act of controlling the things your say when you are happy, sad and angry, you never can tell what will come from your mouth untill the deed has been done already. Guard your tongue with everything in you my friends. Thank you for having me.
