The diary game :with the vulnerable children.by @munyuy on 25/12/2021

Hello dear Steemians ,it's still Christmas and many are still in a jolly mode. Hope you all had a wonderful celebration. Its quite exciting and time to share my dairy with you. Can you imagine that for all of Christmas I was almost starving 🥺 funny right yes it's true , I ate just one time in 2 days. Ask me what happened ,I was so busy serving the people in need and gave out my all until I almost forgot myself.

Morning

I bring to you my diary of 25th December 2021.After I visited the first orphanage on 24th , I decided to go to the rehabilitation center for handicap children on Christmas day. I was awakened by a cock crow at 3:30 a.m. when I checked my phone, I saw several missed calls from my elder brother ,since I left my phone on silence while charging. It dawned unto me that all was not right. So I called him immediately and he informed me that he had been hospitalized at the Martin's Hospital. I went to church in the morning at 5:30 am and by 8:30 I was at the park to collect my documents sent from Buea . From there I went home to cook for me brother.

Mid-day

It already felt like a very long morning as I felt tired running up and down already. I took food to my brother around midday and sat with him for more than an hour. My friend @sirjude joined me to pray for my brother's healing. He latter accompanied me to the rehabilitation center for handicap children.We missed out on the location several times , getting lost and meandering into the quarters. We tried to call the handicap home and their lines didn't go through until about 2:30 pm.

When we finally got there on foot ,we met very venerable children. We shared them Christmas gifts. Most importantly we had calcium and arthro supplements for the kids bones. We also had toothpaste, body lotion and cartoons of pads. It was a wonderful day with those helpless kids. They live far off in the dreaded mile 90. Where alot of people are scared to visit as it termed a red zone. We shared alot with the kids ,sang and danced then went home by 5 pm. We got home tired and I just went to bed.
