The Negative effects of War on children.

War has never been loved by anyone, except by the people that it positively benefits them on the detriment of others.Fighting has brought more hatred and separation in families communities and sometimes a country at large. The crisis plaguing the anglophone region of Cameroon has had a lot of negative impact on Instead of the kids pursuing their education,they run from one bush to another or one village to another in search of safety. Some of them who have come to town still uphold their childhood practices like side and seek plus fetching firewood.

Children in areas that have not been affected by the war enjoy extra curricular activities while learning. They go about sporting activities ,march past, cultural dances ,choral music ,games, athletics ,and a lot more. Sadly children in the affected part of the country have been in the prisons if their own homes, behind the walls of their own houses. The only thing they know better is the different sounds of gunshots ,they know about dirges sang during death celebrations and burials.

They have learnt to hunt and survive eating raw food, fruits and roots from the wild. They know how to sleep in the mountains, in the bushes ,far away from home without food ,without water and without a place to lay their heads and rest called home . They know how to run away and lay on the ground on their stomachs to avoid an oncoming bullet. They know their dailect and watch the few old people who can still portray their cultures

The value of education does not affect the existence of a lot of people. Think about the children in the bushes ,war children ,but many do not have access to them, some of them have decided to pick up arms as young as they are and fight the enemy , a terrible legacy to hand to the young generation. May peace one day locate children who live in war everyday.
