The diary game 23/06/2001 by @rosita-nkefor

Hello steemians. It is a pleasure to partake in this interesting contest #thediarygame. Thank you for taking the time to read my diary.

Wednesday morning came brutally cold, especially on my arms, ears, and feet. My blanket covered fully clothed body with feet clad in socks still shivered as I read my Abstract Algebra 2 notes in preparation for the second semester exams. I was reading using lamplight at 5:00 am because there was no electricity in my quarter. This had been going on for the past two weeks as the transformer had broken down beyond repair due to overload.

It was a nightmare as the only way to keep in touch online was to send my laptop to be charged in town. Despite this challenge, I continued to read. I didn't take breakfast because I don't like eating when I'm stressed. I ate my first meal of the day at about 12:00 pm which was a plate of rice and stew.

Studying became easier as i could read by daylight. Though I couldn't research as much as I tried to preserve my battery.

The day finally ended as it started. Fully clothed under a blanket
and studying with a lamp hoping that maybe, just maybe, I would at least gain some understanding and warmth simultaneously.
