My greetings from one locked down to another ;-). In Switzerland we are a bit less restricted than in Spain it seems. We are staying indoors and with two kids, things get sometimes a bit out of hand ;-). We manage however. Since I had to close my offline business, I have a lot of time to spend on steem/hive and to do homeschooling with my kids.
As @gadrian correctly said, it seems that steem-engine will be reproduced from scratch on hive. If this will generate additional costs, I feel very sorry for the people who created tokens on steem-engine.
I don't see any future on steem. With the new TOS, that forbid to promote third websites seems quite a strech. This means you can't put any external links at all. Not the best solution for people who want to promote affiliate offers...
Well, I'd like to add here that the new ToS is only for Steemit front-end. So Steempeak is a good frontend to take advantage of, in case you like to use Steem blockchain. But overtime, I feel that tribes will have to move to Hive if they really care ...in spite of the additional cost demanded by @aggroed and his team. (He will lose a lot of fan following just because of that!).

Totally agree with you... There are other frontends, and JS is shooting in his own foot... The things will change a lot on the STEEM, and I have some feeling that JS will leave the chain... maybe not soon, but in a year or two probably...
Maybe we will come back to STEEM and continue where we have stopped :)
And, also agree about S-E and additional costs... I think that it's not fair to token owners to pay double...

I hear you there... lol... My next post was exactly about that problem... :)
And the new Steemit TOS sucks... But as @xyzashu said, there are other frontends...
