Hi dear @steem.skillshare family,
It was a while, I wanted to share with you my personal version of a RAW FISH salad.
I know that raw fish or row meat could be disgusting form many people out there, but for me is absolutely a delicacy!
My version is a EAST meet WEST version, I really hope you are going to like it.
INGREDIENTS
- Salmon.
- Tuna.
- Extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon juice.
- Fresh capers, fresh parsley.
- Wasabi paste, soy sauce.
PREPARATION
The preparation is very, very simple, indeed we just need to marinate the fish and nothing more.
It is important to buy, for safety reasons, to buy already frozen sashimi quality fish.
Once got the ingredients, just unfroze the fish and start to cut them. I generally start with salmon.
Cut them into cubes, decide by yourself the dimension, then start to cut the tuna, and try to keep the same cubes dimension.
Use a good sharpen, fish style knife, it will help you a lot.
After that,
mix the cubes together and add the wasabi paste, the olive, salt pepper, lemon juice and the soy sauce.
Let it rest for 5 minutes, then add the capers and the parsley.
Mix again everything together, and let it rest for 30 minutes in the fridge, then remove from the fridge let it rest at room temperature for other 30 minutes, mix last time and serve.
