Life is a gift,
It gives us an opportunity,
To see the beauty, the world has to offer.
The beauty of nature, beauty of food,
The beauty of love, from friends and family,
The beauty of growth, the beauty of learning.
Some things happen though,
Which make us question this gift,
Some times things happen that cause,
So much pain to us, things happen that,
Can break us, and we wonder if this gift is worthwhile,
The beauty of it all is that we are not on this journey alone.
We have people even strangers that make a difference even without noticing,
People who share what they are going through,
And that gives us hope that there are people,
That have gone through the same situation and have made it through.
Some friends go the extra mile to shine through on the worst days,
Family tries to show up all the time.
Therefore be grateful for this gift of life,
But also on the worst days tap into the love offered you.
