Homeless meal Sunday, join us and be blessed!

It is that time again! On Sunday we feed the homeless in downtown Tulsa. If you are close, come and be blessed by serving! We set up at 2 PM at the corner of 11th and S. DENVER, on the NE corner.

We will feed about 325 homeless, and will be done by 4 o'clock.

Sort Order:

We will be serving: Beef Stew (10 gallons), Chili (5 gallons), Mac & Cheese (5 gallons), scalloped potatoes (5 gallons), Mixed veggies and corn (5 gallons each), kitchen sink salad (25 gallons), 40 loaves of French Toast, 20 gallons of lemonaid, fresh made coffee and tea, a hundred pounds of baked potatoes, queso sauce (5 gallons), and a dozen home made pies.

Plus the ladies always sneak in a bunch of home made goodies I don't know about, LOL! :D :D

We use 100 pounds of ice, and run 21,000 watts of generators to keep things hot. We use three canopies for a total of 50 foot by 10 foot of covered area.

We always run out on seconds, but Everyone gets fed!

that's not enough pies for that many people!
you guys are aiming to be able to do this every weekend eventually right?

They cut them in squares, and they go a lot further. Everyone get Something sweet!

We can only manage this once a month, too hard! :) It would break my bank too.

:'(

I thought you had plenty of help but I guess not. you need more funds and more workers?

Three of my regular helpers had scheduling problems. They usually cook to, so I have to make up an extra 15 gallons I didn't plan to make tonight.

you're a good man doing God's work! I'll let you get back to it!

Just sat down. Everything is cooking. I will be up all night. But they will eat tomorrow, and we will have all we need. Tomorrow I will sleep.

Leaving for downtown, made it on food! Tired, now for 40 loaves of french toast....

great job sir! how did it go and how many did you serve?

Great job man... Very noble and considerate.... I bet there are a lot of thankfull people out there because of your efforts...
It's good to see that people like you demonstrate an effort to contribute to the cohesion and care of society...

People keep joining us, and bringing food to help feed these people. They are Good people, in a bad spot. We try to make the best food we can get, and keep it hot! We can only manage this once a month, but they eat good one day a month. We started with one 5 gallon roaster of chicken and rice, and an 8 quart kettle of macaroni and cheese. We fed 60 people that first day.

Finally have enough small pressure cookers to do ALL the beef at the same time! That will save me several hours.

:)

We made it! With the rain, numbers were down a little. But it was good day to feed.

♡♡♡
