Homeless meal Sunday, join us and be blessed!

We had three guys telling him to leave, and one calling 911. The problem was less of a problem than he thought, I practice at 25 snd 50 yards with my CC.

If he had unsheathed the blade, started our way; I had already decided to drop him before he arrived WHERE WE WERE! I also had moved where no one else would be, hurt by a stray bullet.

whoa! so what backed him down?

Three guys bigger than he was, that were pissed! He did NOT know about my CC; but that was the primary response tool.

I carry insurance for legal protection in the case that I need to use a weapon to defend myself! My job is to practice enough to be VERY good with it.

I actually have a real Samari Sword, and I am improving with it. He was Not holding it right, LOL!

:)

that would have been cool to whip yours out! I wonder what he'd have done? lol

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.

what does that mean bot?
does that mean I'm a poet?

Run if he was wise; the real one would have cut through that soft steel toy he had!
But if that thing had come out, he would have assumed room temperature! (Y)

lol! well I'm laughing but something like that might have damaged your church's reputation with the homeless or maybe not I don't know.

Not through a single church, or denomination (we have six churches, four denominations, and one motorcycle club helping). The Homeless trust us, and I have intercepted problems before, so I think they would understand.

They are no more tolerant of pedophiles that anyone else, so if they caught him, he would likely not make it anyway! They have some kids that are homeless too, which breaks my heart, but I keep some stuff for them. Several of the ministries that come there, have toys and candy for these kids!

well sir smithlabs the homeless kids issue it hard to understand, shouldn't they be in foster care at least? with all those churches working together this thing should be able to keep growing and eventually get a fulltime shelter, don't ya'll have a Salvation Army post in your city?

They are with their parents, and even homeless (living in cars and under bridges) they are better off than in the hands of the state! Yes we have a Salvation Army (big 4 story residence version), and John 3:16 mission, Day care center for the homeless, the Iron gate, Denver House, and half as dozen church sponsored units.

The incidence has reduced in the last year, as more jobs have become available; but these families are the very hardest to reach! There is a constant fear that if they are noticed, the state will grab their kids, and some of these places are REQUIRED by law to report them!

Sadly, there is a lot of money for the state, if they take kids away from their Parents! SO, they keep a very low profile, to keep their own children! We are very careful not to ask (even though you know) if the kids are homeless, because they will leave with no food to keep them safe!

Child Protective Services is viewed as the Gestapo; with cause!
