I thought I’d recap the year with the best photos or ones that meant a lot to me. I have about 3500 I took and saved this year. Easily 3X as many were taken with my dying old Kodak and deleted.

Happy New year to you and all the best for 2020!
Thanks for sharing a bit of a photojourney from your place!
That is quite the addition you put on! And almost closed in!
Love your picture of the mini English wall garden and was quite taken by the shadow box your sister made for you! Did she make all the furniture and everything in it?
Happy to see your cat had a Nippy Merry Christmas! Hope yours was a merry one too!
I have never seen a Christmas tree with real candles - I would be too afraid of fires but I imagine you would only light them for a short while and always when you are in attendance.

No, she didn't make the furniture. I found that online. She just wallpapered, floored and laid out the room. But her shadowboxes are always so nice!

I only know of 2 people who light with real candles. You MUST use a really fresh tree, keep water on hand, and ALWAYS attend when it is lit. She's been using real candles for many years. When I went to the lighting a week later, one of us was designated fire fighter, with the water in hand.
