To add, one of my favorite saying about meditation that I heard is "One can not teach you how to meditate as one can not teach you how to sleep. Only the preparations for meditation can be taught. Same with the sleep. One can tell you to turn the light off, lay down in a quite place and close your eyes. You don't "do" meditation. It just happens spontaneously. You fall in meditation as you fall asleep."
